# Presento SI

> Presento SI (home presento.si; presentosi.com leads to the same site; formerly called Presento) is a native Mac app from Epiphani Studios where an AI agent builds presentations and documents in HTML, page by page, and Presento SI prints them to a print-perfect PDF through Chrome's print engine.

## What it does
- Ask the AI to change one page, one element, or the whole document; edits run in a staging copy and land after checks, inside the selection.
- Marks: tap, circle or draw an arrow on a page; each mark resolves to the elements under it and the AI receives a numbered, marked picture.
- Variants: request several versions of a page and compare them side by side as printed pages; A is the page as it stands.
- History: every turn is a revision with thumbnails of the pages it changed; whole-document or single-page history; restore one page from any revision; named finals.
- Library of every document; fork a document as a new draft; import any HTML deck with its images.
- 33 templates (kits) with page size, layouts, content rules and checks; a Hall of Champions of 144 landmark works.
- Checks: overflow, footer collisions, missing images, fonts, contrast, voice and number rules.
- Named PDF exports ("Title - Version N (label).pdf") and speaker script drafts.
- Live numbers: link a CSV or Excel file, bind page figures and chart arrays to it, and Refresh Numbers rewrites every bound figure and redraws the chart bars; locked pages keep their numbers.
- Locked pages and locked elements: the AI edits around them, and a turn that changes, moves or drops a locked element is put back.
- Re-flow As: the same content as a memo, one-pager, letter, press release, email or deck, in a new document from the matching template; the source document is unchanged.
- Paste as New Page: a picture, HTML table, tab-separated table or text becomes a native page; a screenshot of a table is rebuilt with its numbers.
- Keyboard first: 130 commands, 101 shortcuts, a Command K palette, single-key moves, a cheat sheet, and remappable shortcuts.
- Presenting: full screen, a presenter console on a second display, rehearsal with script and timer, laser pointer, spotlight, zoom, kiosk loop and auto-advance.
- Compare pages side by side, and any page against an earlier version of itself.
- presento:// links open a document at a page, present it, or run a command (usable from Apple Shortcuts); Copy Link to This Page.
- Every AI turn works in a staging copy of the document: Claude's file tools and the presento commands it may run reach only that folder.
- Dictation with Apple speech recognition and automatic background updates.
- The same binary runs as the `presento` command-line tool (new, import, render, check, snapshot, versions, restore, final, variants, export).
- Agent tools: `presento mcp` serves 16 Model Context Protocol tools (open a turn; read, edit, replace, create or delete a page; search; read and edit shared styles; check; render a page; accept; reject) to any MCP-capable agent, and the same workflow runs as `presento open`, `read-page`, `edit-page`, `create-page`, `delete-page`, `search`, `accept` and `reject`. Writes land in a staging copy; only accept changes the document.

## Runs on
macOS 15 or later on Apple silicon, with Google Chrome and Claude Code signed in to the user's Claude plan.
